Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
