Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss. 21 “And they carried out a very sinister scheme.” 22 They said: “Do not abandon your deities; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Yauq, nor Nasr. 23 "And so they have led many a one astray: hence, ordain Thou that these evildoers stray but farther and farther away [from all that they may desire]!" 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Nuh said: my Lord! leave not upon the earth of the infidels one inhabitant. 26 Surely, if You leave them they will mislead Your worshipers and father none but the immoral, and unbelievers. 27 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and forgive all believers, both men and women, and do not increase the wrong-doers in anything except perdition.” 28
God the Almighty always says the truth.
