the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He has no consort? He created everything and is aware of everything! 101 That then is God your Lord; there is no god but He, the Creator of everything. So serve Him, for He is Guardian over everything. 102 No vision can grasp Him, but He takes in over all vision; He is the Subtle and Aware One. 103 “Enlightening proofs came to you from your Lord; so whoever observes, it is for his own good; and whoever is blind, it is for his own harm; and I am not a guardian over you.” 104 And thus We variously propound the revelation, and this is in order that they may say: thou hast studied, and that We may expound it to a people who know. 105 Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; there is no god but He; and withdraw from the polytheists. 106 If it had been Allah's plan, they would not have taken false gods: but We made thee not one to watch over their doings, nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. 107 Revile not those whom they invoke besides Allah, lest they may spitefully revile Allah without knowledge. Thus fair-seeming unto every community We have made their work. Then unto their Lord is their return, and then He will declare unto them that which they were wont to work. 108 They have sworn by God the most earnest oaths if a sign comes to them they will believe in it. Say: 'Signs are only with God.' What will make you realize that, when it comes, they will not believe? 109 We are turning their hearts and eyes away from the Truth even as they did not believe in the first instance - and We leave them in their insurgence to stumble blindly. 110
