۞ And those who fear not the meeting with Us say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great. 21 On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited. 22 And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust. 23 The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. 24 A day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a grand descent. 25 the Kingdom that day, the true Kingdom, shall belong to the All-merciful and it shall be a day harsh for the unbelievers. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Oh, woe is me! Would that I had not taken so-and-so for a friend! 28 He indeed led me astray from the Remembrance, after it had come to me; Satan is ever a forsaker of men.' 29 And the Apostle will say: my Lord! verily my people took this Qur'an as a thing to be shunned. 30 For so it is that against every prophet We have set up enemies from among those who are lost in sin: yet none can guide and give succour as thy Sustainer does! 31 Now they who are bent on denying the truth are wont to ask. "Why has not the Qur'an been bestowed on him from on high in one single revelation?" [it has been revealed] in this manner so that We might strengthen thy heart thereby - for We have so arranged its component parts that they form one consistent whole 32 And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. 33 Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. 34
