Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,- 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 "And you did your deed, which you did (i.e. the crime of killing a man). And you are one of the ingrates." 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel." 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe." 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Said he, 'Surely your Messenger who was sent to you is possessed!' 27 Moses continued, "He is the Lord of the East and West and all that is between them, if only you would think". 28 Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison." 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
