The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
