۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
