And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
