Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
