1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
And remember Our bondman Ayyub (Job); when he cried out* to his Lord, “The devil has struck me with hardship and pain.” (After seven years of patience.) 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth this was a miracle.) 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 all this will be theirs; let them taste it -- a scalding, dark, foul fluid, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
