The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
