The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

A. L. M. 1 This is the exalted Book (the Qur’an), in which there is no place for doubt; a guidance for the pious. 2 Who believe in the Unseen, and establish prayer, and out of that wherewith We have provided them expend. 3 And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 As for those who deny, it is all the same if you warn them or not, they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and hearing and their vision is veiled; a great punishment awaits them. 7

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
