And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 notwithstanding that they had been wont [to enjoy Our blessings and] to hew out dwellings from the mountains, [wherein they could live] in security 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 All that they had acquired was of no avail to them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
