And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
