And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
