And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
