Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You will be shown hell 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
