Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
