۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
