And whose speech is better than one who calls towards his Lord and does righteous deeds, and says, “I am a Muslim.”? 33 Good and evil are not alike. Repel evil with what is good. Then you will find your erstwhile enemy like a close affectionate friend. 34 Only those who exercise patience and who have been granted a great share of God's favor can find such an opportunity. 35 And if there inciteth thee an incitement from the Satan then seek refuge in Allah. Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 36 And the night, and the day, and the sun, and the moon are among His signs; do not prostrate for the sun or the moon, but prostrate for Allah Who has created them, if you are His bondmen. 37 But if they are proud, yet those with your Lord glorify Him during the night and the day, and they are not tired. ۩ 38 For among His signs is this: thou seest the earth lying desolate - and lo! when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells [with life]! Verily, He who brings it to life can surely give life to the dead [of heart as well]: for, behold, He has the power to will anything. 39 Those who deviate from Our revelations are not hidden from Us. Is the one who will be thrown into hell fire better than the one who will be brought safely into the presence of God on the Day of Judgment? Act as you wish; God is Well-Aware of whatever you do. 40 Surely those who disbelieve in the reminder when it comes to them, and most surely it is a Mighty Book: 41 falsehood shall not reach from before or from behind. It is a revelation from the Wise, the One worthy of all praise. 42 (O Prophet), nothing is said to you but what was already said to the Messengers before you. Surely your Lord is the Lord of forgiveness and the Lord of grievous chastisement. 43 Had We sent this as a Quran [in a language] other than Arabic, they would have said, "Why are its verses not clearly explained? What! An Arab Prophet, and a scripture in a foreign tongue?" Say, "It is a guide and a healing to those who believe; but for those who do not believe, there is a deafness in their ears, and a covering over their eyes: they are [as it were] being called from a very distant place." 44
