Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is it timed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
