The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
