Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 until you visit the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
