Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
