Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 So that he may warn him who is alive and feels, and justify the word against those who do not believe. 70 Did they not see that We have created animals for them from Our handiwork, so they are their owners? 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 and may have [yet other] benefits from them, and [milk] to drink? Will they not, then, be grateful? 73 And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped. 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, 79 who has made for you out of the green tree fire and lo, from it you kindle.' 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 when He decrees a thing, He need only say, "Be!" and it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
