Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
