What is wrong with the disbelievers who roam around you (Muhammad), 36 [coming upon thee] from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by others better than they; and We are not to be outrun. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 the Day on which they will hastily come forth from their graves, as though they were hurrying on to the altars of their deities. 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
