The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
