Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
