When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 (Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong, 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 Pharaoh said, 'And what is the Lord of all Being?' 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 [And Moses] continued: "[He is] your Sustainer, [too,] as well as the Sustainer of your forefathers of old!" 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 Moses said, "He is the Lord of the East and the West, and all that lies between them, if only you could understand." 28 Pharaoh said, "If you put forward any god other than me, I will surely put you in prison". 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 (No sooner had he said this than) Moses threw down his rod and behold, it was a veritable serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
