۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers. 29 We had no power over you. In fact, you were a people rebellious. 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray." 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 They were those who, when it was said to them, "There is no god but God," behaved with insolence, 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 And ye shall be required not except for that which ye have been doing; 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 Fruits! And they shall be honoured. 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 On couches, facing one another. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 “Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ – 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 What, do we then not die 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. 63 Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell; 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Then most surely they shall have after it to drink of a mixture prepared in boiling water. 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 They found their father going astray 69 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74
