Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24
Assuredly We sent Nuh unto his people, and he said: O my people! worship Allah; no god ye have but He; verily I fear for you the torment of a mighty day. 59 The great ones among his people replied: "Verily, we see that thou art obviously lost in error!" 60 He said, “O my people! There is no straying in me – I am in fact a Noble Messenger from the Lord Of The Creation.” 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, give you sincere advice, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
