The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
