T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down this Qur’an upon you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to fall into hardship! (Either because he used to pray at length during the night or because he was distressed due to the disbelievers not accepting faith.) 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent running along. 20 He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
