The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
