۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
