And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
