And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
