O you who believe, do not practice usury, charging doubled and redoubled (interest); but have fear of God: you may well attain your goal. 130 guard yourself against the Fire prepared for those who deny the truth, 131 And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 Those who spend (of that which Allah hath given them) in ease and in adversity, those who control their wrath and are forgiving toward mankind; Allah loveth the good; 134 and those who, if they commit indecency or wrong themselves remember Allah and ask forgiveness of their sins for who but Allah forgives sins and those who do not persist in what they do while they know. 135 their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing through them, where they will abide forever. How excellent will be the reward of those who do good works. 136 Divers institutions have passed away before you; journey in the land, and behold how was the end of those that cried lies. 137 This is an exposition for mankind, and a guidance, and an admonition for such as are godfearing. 138 And faint not, nor grieve; ye shall overcome, if ye are believers. 139 If ye have received a blow, the (disbelieving) people have received a blow the like thereof. These are (only) the vicissitudes which We cause to follow one another for mankind, to the end that Allah may know those who believe and may choose witnesses from among you; and Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 140 And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. 141 Did you suppose that you would enter Paradise without Allah knowing those of you who struggled and who were patient? 142 You certainly wished to die (for the cause of God) before you actually faced death. Then you faced death (in the battlefield and only a few of you had the true desire to die). 143
