Abraham was certainly a model of faith, obedient to God and upright, and not one of idolaters, 120 He was thankful to God for His bounties. God chose him and guided him to the right path. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 Then, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW saying): "Follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah) and he was not of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers, etc.). 123 The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed thereon; and verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Judgment-Day concerning that wherein they have been differing. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 Hence, if you have to respond to an attack [in argument,] respond only to the extent of the attack levelled against you; but to bear yourselves with patience is indeed far better for [you, since God is with] those who are patient in adversity. 126 Exercise patience and let it be only for the cause of God. Do not be grieved about them nor disappointed at their evil plans. 127 For surely Allah is with those who hold Him in fear and do good. 128
