We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
