Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
