Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
