Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
