In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
