3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
