And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 They have been precluded from hearing it. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
