The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
