The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
