The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephants? 1 Put He not their stratagem to straying. 2 And He sent against them swarms of birds 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 So He rendered them like straw eaten up? 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
