And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 for what they have done 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
